Vox is the Latin word for “voice”.
Vox Culture is an Arts and Advocacy Network. We combine the voices of creativity and cause to fight against poverty and injustice.
The Vox Network consists of:
- The Creatives – artists, musicians and entrepreneurs
- The Cause – charitable organizations that fight against poverty and injustice
- The Catalysts – core team, volunteers and donors
Since our beginning in 2008 we have worked with nearly 50 different artists, musicians, local eateries, and coffee houses to create a unique cultural experience. At a Vox Culture event you’ll find a blend of different people coming together to enjoy food, music, and art while learning how to help others.
We have worked with a number of different organizations to alleviate poverty and injustice. One of our first projects benefited a local elementary school. We have worked with SEARCH Homeless Services and provided a platform for their volunteer coordinator to speak on issues of homelessness. We have also partnered with anti-human trafficking groups to bring greater awareness to a hidden problem. Our scope covers global issues as well. Together we have raised support to fight the causes of poverty in Africa, Asia and other parts of our world.
Dance, poetry, painting, and music are all ways in which we “voice” our humanity. Vox Culture combines our voices so that we can fight the forces that destroy human life. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or you’re just starting to find your voice, I hope you’ll consider joining us as we seek to bring positive change to the world.
Ted Law, Founder of Vox Culture, Lead Pastor of Access
What I love most about Vox Culture is our people – whether it is the planning committee, the artists or the organizations that we partner with, each individual is gifted with unique talents and is filled with a heart of compassion. It is amazing to experience how much greatness that can be achieved when everyone uses their talents in a collective effort to better our world. Vox Culture fosters an environment where creativity is discovered, developed and displayed. Together as a community, we are growing in self-discovery, learning how to bring about positive change, and witnessing the impact our contributions make when we work as one. I could not have asked to be part of a better team and am excited for all that is to come!
